Mace Flow Beginners Course

This 4 week course takes you from never having heard of a Steel Mace to completing a 10 minutes of one of the most functional disciplines out there... Steel Mace flow. The Steel Mace otherwise known as a Macebell or Gada is an unbalanced weighted bar with origins leading to Indian wrestlers. The modern exercises focus primarily on one-sided exercises, great for functional fitness, martial artists and sports performance. The Steel Mace is a fantastic tool that does the obvious of improving your fitness, and with weight management. However, Steel Mace also helps straighten your posture, stabilise balance, enhance proprioception, develop coordination, boost confidence and elevate your mental state. By the end of the 4 weeks, which builds up over time, you'll understand the Steel Mace components, warming up and cooling down as well as some fundamental exercises for you to take away and develop on your own. You'll be a more functional human, better able to navigate the diversities of life and get a certificate for your efforts. Held at Watton Sports Centre Studio. The venue has free parking and on site toilets. Steel Mace will be provided for your use. Available for ages 14 - 69. Due to the nature of the training Armoured Muscle may not be able to cater for those with disabilities. Maximum of 6 participants. Prerequisites: - Can complete 10 squats - Suitable footwear - A way to hydrate If you have any questions please feel free to contact us. Limited availability. Please book to secure a place.
